Australia’s Academic and Research Network (AARNet) is a not-for-profit company owned by the Australian universities and CSIRO. AARNet provides internet and advanced telecommunications and network services, as well as security, data storage and collaboration services. Our customers include universities, research organisations, schools, vocational training providers and cultural institutions.

 

AusCERT

AusCERT is a Cyber Emergency Response Team (CERT) based in Australia. It operates as a membership based organisation. As a not-for-profit security group based at The University of Queensland Australia, AusCERT delivers 24/7 service to members and helps them prevent, detect, respond and mitigate cyber-based attacks.

Australian Access Federation

The Australian Access Federation (AAF) is the not-for-profit national identity federation providing secure access and authentication services for the higher education and research sector. Our customers include all Australian universities, research organisations and commercial research service providers. A main focus for the AAF is providing security best practice advice for identity and access management to our subscribers.

CAUDIT

CAUDIT is the Council of Australasian University Directors of Information Technology, a not for profit association owned by member organisations within Australia and New Zealand. It is the peak body for Information Technology Services within Higher Education and Research, representing 70 member institutions across the region.

REANNZ

REANNZ, designs, builds and operates New Zealand's high-performance, advanced National Research and Education Network (NREN).
