Dr. Scott Flower has extensive experience in the higher education sector. He was previously an Academic in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Melbourne and Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Social Sciences, University of Western Australia.
He completed his PhD at the Crawford School of Economics and Government and was awarded his PhD in Public Policy by the Australian National University (ANU). He also holds a M.A. in Strategic Studies from the ANU, and a B.A. from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
Scott is a founder of CI-ISAC, the first sovereign critical infrastructure threat sharing platform. Scott also works at Bank of America and previously at FI-ISAC.
Scott is regularly engaged in political and security risk management advice to multinational corporations and NGOs in Papua New Guinea. He developed and delivered the Fieldwork in Complex & Hostile Places (FCHP) 8-day intensive teaching program over six years at Unimelb/UWA/JCU/WSU. He was also awarded a teaching excellence award from Dean Field Rickards, University of Melbourne Graduate School of Education
